How it all started...

Having never grown up on a farm, I got my start in the cattle industry by joining 4-H and showing cattle for my neighbors back in Prince Edward Island. In 2008, I made the move to Alberta to pursue my career as a large animal veterinary technician, where I can work exclusively with beef cattle. The move West broadened my knowledge of the beef industry and solidified my desire to start a herd of my own one day.

I was able to make that dream come true in 2017 when I bought my first 4 Red Angus/ Red Simmental bred females and aptly named my operation after those matriarch cows.

I plan to continue to grow and strengthen my herd using Red Angus genetics year over year and take advantage of the numerous producer programs available  so that I can establish my brand and build a herd that's sustainable for the future of the beef industry.
